Full Time Career Opportunity

The Camden-Wyoming Fire Company is accepting resumes for the position of full time NREMT- B/Firefighter. Employees will be responsible for staffing basic life support ambulances on a daily basis, providing emergency medical care & transportation.  Employees will be utilized for fire suppression activities when it is necessary for them to complete a crew.  Responsibilities will also include custodial duties, routine checks on equipment and tools, as well as fire prevention, administrative functions and logistical support as needed.  Applicants must be mature, self-motivated, responsible and able to work well with others with minimal supervision.  The starting pay for this position will be decided based upon hire.  Shifts will be 24/48 with a kelly day, but can be changed without notice.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Must be at least 21 years of age

·         Hold valid NREMT-B, Delaware EMT-B and CPR/AED certification

·         Hold Basic Firefighting Skills, Structural Firefighting Skills, HazMat Response Skills, Vehicle Rescue.  Driver/Operator, and Truck Company preferred.  (Delaware State Fire School or equivalent.) 

·         Hold a valid Delaware Motor Vehicle Operators License and EVO

·         Must be a non-member of the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company
