Upon the arrival of Command 41, it was confirmed that there was an audible as well as a visible alarm throughout the building. Crews from Engine 41 made access to the building and began an investigation into the various areas of activation. At this time crews began to smell a burning odor and were met with a smoke condition on the first floor of the building. Due to the signaifcant smoke condition throughout the building command 41 requested Station 57 to make a response with Airboat 57 for positive pressure ventilation. Units operated on scene for approximately 2 hours. The scene was turned over to the State Fire Marshals Office for the investigation.
