At 2106, The Camden-Wyoming Fire Company along with Kent County Paramedics and DSP aviation were dispatched to the intersection of Hazletteville Road and Estate Drive for a MVC with a rollover. As units were responding, Kent Center advised that Station 46 (Dover) was also dispatched and responding. Dover car 1 (Christiansen) arrived on scene at 2115 and reported a single vehicle overturned and severed a utility pole. Ambulance B41 arrived at the same time and started patient care of the lone occupant who was ejected from the vehicle. Engine 46-4 and Rescue 46-1 arrived on scene and started to assist B41. Rescue 41-6 arrived on scene and there crew set up a landing zone for Trooper 4. 41-16 (Rigsby) established command and requested TMC to shut down Hazletteville Road. Trooper 4 landed to the south of the accident scene and one patient was flown to CER as a trauma code. Command placed the incident under control at 2154 clearing all apparatus with the exception of 41-6. DEC was on scene to replace the utility pole and fire police were left on scene to assist with traffic control. All units were clear at 2224.
