At 0129, the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company was dispatched to 3820 Walnut Shade Road for a MVC. Ambulance A41 and Rescue 41-6 arrived on scene at 0139 and found a full size pick up that had rolled through a small pump house, striking a fire hydrant and landing on it’s wheels. 41-18 (Dufresne) established command. The lone occupant had self-extricated out the vehicle and the crew from 41-6 assisted A41 with packaging the patient. Command requested ALS to respond to the scene and advised that they would meet A41 during transport. Crews then secured the vehicle and command had Kent Center contact Tidewater utilities to check the damage to the hydrant.
